Doug Tatum is the Founding Partner and Chairman Emeritus of Tatum LLC, the country's pre-eminent executive and consulting services firm. During his tenure as Chairman, he grew the firm from a respected regional firm to a nationally prominent firm with over 750 professionals operating from more than thirty offices. Read more.
Doug is a recognized expert on the capital markets, private equity and entrepreneurial growth businesses, having testified before Congress on more than one occasion concerning the financing issues faced by growing companies and US tax policy and as keynote speaker at the Securities Exchange Commission Forum. He is currently touring the U.S. as a speaker presenting to groups of CEO's nation-wide the material included in his just published book No Man's Land: What to do when your Company is too Big to be Small and too Small to be Big. This book was recently selected as one of the Best Business Books of 2007 by and is currently being translated for distribution in China by China Press.
Doug is currently the Chairman of the Gazelle Institute, a not-for-profit academic research institute dedicated to studying growing businesses and their impact on the US economy.
Mr. Tatum is a graduate of Florida State University where he received his Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) and Masters in Accounting, and later also served as adjunct faculty at the business school.
