Reva Kussmaul is the Chief Executive Officer of Eye for Detail, Inc., a residential remodeling company that has served California’s San Gabriel Valley for over 20 years. The company’s operating premise is: to be clear in communication, honest in price and a company that operates from integrity. By following the principles that she shares with others, Reva, The Remodeling Coach, has made a profit on every job for which she has contracted in the 2 years since their implementation, something not all that common in the construction industry. Under Reva’s leadership, Eye for Detail, Inc. has recently added coaching to its list of services. Reva helps contractors and homeowners understand that they can be their own worst enemies, and that both of them can single-handedly cause remodeling nightmares — or create win/win scenarios. Reva’s goal is to help both parties engage in communication that is open, clear and honest so that their remodeling projects are successful. The coaching goal of Eye for Detail is to help homeowners have a positive experience during their project and for the contractor to realize a profit and have the client so happy at the end of that project that referrals are forthcoming without even having to ask.
